Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos – Serbia

As part of this project in 2002 Center for Contemporary Art together with The
Foundation for Civil Society founded the Dimitrije Basicevic Mangelos Award. From
2006 to 2010 organizers of the Award were Artist association DEZ ORG and
KONTEKST Gallery and in 2007 they introduced a new contest segment – production of
artworks. In 2010 The organizing team was changed. Remont – Independent Art
Association from Belgrade and Ilija and Mangelos Fund from Novi Sad joined DEZ ORG
and KONTEKST Gallery withdrew from the organization.
